Back to Bears Day is a day for marking the tradition of the North Shore club. And this year it kicks off celebrating a new tradition, as our women get to be first to take the field.
Last start was a forfeit win, with Moorebank unable to field a team; but a scratch match was quickly arranged which enabled most of our squad to get some game time. And that time will come in handy this week as we have a game for points.
The opponent will be Campbelltown. The Blues will come out hard to take the fight up to our Bombers. But our Bombers have a good quality, skilful side this season; and here’s a great chance to showcase the rise of North Shore Womens’ footy.
