The debut of our women’s team went far better than any of us could have imagined. Taking control from the start, our Bombers shut Newtown out of the game and the Breakaways were kept scoreless as our Bombers powered away to an 111-point win.
This time it’s the first away game, travelling to Mona Park for a clash with Auburn-Penrith. The Giants had an opening-round win as well, scoring the only goal in their entire game; which gives an indication that they’ll be a tough, defensive team.
But our Bombers have shown we’re good enough to match it in this competition. And the best is yet to come.
