Our Under 19s are going for the title three-peat this season, and got their campaign off to a flying start against UNSW-ES last Saturday. The Bulldogs had been our opponents in the last two Grand Finals, but this time round it was a one-sided affair as our Bombers dominated from start to finish to win by 81 points.
This week we’re at home again, in a twilight match against East Coast Eagles. We’ve had some good contests against the Eagles in seasons past, but although we’ve had the wood on them over the last few years, they’re a tough opponent and our young Bombers will need to rise to the occasion to keep the great start to the season intact.
