We’ve made it to the penultimate game of the season.
A flying start against UTS last week laid the foundations of the win, ensuring that even when the Bats came back during the last quarter, the Bombers were always in front. And then some key goals when they were really needed got the Bombers over the line.
This week we’re up against St George. The Dragons have been one of the competition’s front-runners, and lost only three games during the home & away season. They’ll be a tough opponent and will test our team’s ability and resilience. But one of those losses was to us; and our Bombers have matched up well against them in recent seasons.
The stakes are high. For the winner, a spot in the Grand Final. For the loser, the season is over. Our Bombers will need to be at their best and play the best football possible to get over the line in this one.
