An advantage of finishing in the top three after the home and away season is that going down in the final means the season isn’t over. And so our Reserves have another chance to progress through the finals.
Last week didn’t go our way against Penrith. There was only a kick in it at the long break, but unfortunately the third quarter didn’t go our way and the deficit was too much to make up in the last term.
So we’re in sudden-death action, a Saturday afternoon clash up at Bruce Purser Reserve against South-West Sydney. They’ll be a tough opponent, and we saw that at Rosedale in the last round. But, as we saw at home earlier in the season, they’re an opponent we’re capable of beating.
It’s time for our Reserves to lift, and record a win; and keep our season going.
