Finals time is here! This is what the season has been building up to, the true test of player greatness.
The talent is there. We’ve seen a diverse group of players mould into an outstanding team, and in the first year we’ve fielded a team in this division it’s a tribute to the players that they’ve been able to make it through to the playoffs.
Last week saw a welcome win and return to finals form with a comfortable win over Holroyd-Parramatta at Gipps Road. The momentum is there to press ahead and make an impact at the business end of the season.
Our opponents will be West Sydney Magpies. We had a big win against them at home, and have twice gone down by a kick away. This time we’re on neutral territory at Blacktown; and it’s time for our Bombers to shine!
It’s an early start on Saturday, but playing finals is what footballers aspire to. And now the time has come. Go Bombers!
