The minor premiership is secure, but this is no time to relax. The finals are just around the corner.
Last week at Olds Park, our young Bombers put in a dominant performance to hold the second-placed Dragons to just two goals. The pressure put on was superb, and the development of this group of players into outstanding footballers is a pleasure to watch.
The result means that the Bombers will finish top of the ladder after the regular season, and nothing that happens in this game will change that. But winning momentum is important, and the competition for places in the finals team immense.
And we’re playing Manly on our turf. With local pride on the line, that’s always another reason for wanting a big win. Let’s go Bombers!!!
