Division Four (Thirds) Second Semi-Final v Camden

What a cracking win in last week’s opening final! For many of our Bombers it was the first time they’d ever played a footy final; but they took to it like a duck to water and got stuck in. Against a highly-rated opponent in a low-scoring and physical contest, scores were level at the last change before the Bombers pulled away in the last quarter.
It’s been a sensational season for our Thirds, which sees the Grand Final just one game away. But standing in our way is Camden, a strong opponent at this level who are rested after having last week off.
During the season we split our meetings with the Cats, with a win at home and a loss away. Blacktown is neutral ground, and it’s up to our Bombers to rise to the occasion.
A win will see the Bombers go through to the Grand Final. A loss won’t end our season, and there’s another chance next week to qualify for the big game. But to get it done now, and have an extra stress-free week to prepare for the Grand Final knowing we’re already in it, would be ideal. Let’s go Bombers!
