Finals time is here for our Reserves, the time of year we all look forward to. Saturday afternoon is Qualifying Final day.
Last week wasn’t the ideal hit-out before the finals; a depleted side in a game that was already a dead rubber away against a team that needed a win to qualify. But the time for favours is over – it’s our time to shine!
In our first final, we’ll be taking on Penrith. We’ve split our meetings with the Rams this year, recording a cracking win at home in the opening round but going down to them on their turf.
This time we’re on neutral territory, and the finals pressure is on. There’s been a lot of hard work gone into this season, and here’s our chance to capitalise. A win here will see our Bombers just one win away from the Grand Final. A loss will send us to sudden death. The stakes are high, but this is the challenge we relish.
