Last week at Henson Park our Reserves had a solid win against Manly, winning every quarter and running away with the contest. It was a display of form and skill that typifies what’s been a great season for the Reserves.
This week is the last round of the home and away season, and we’re heading down to Rosedale Oval for a clash with South-West Sydney. The way the ladder is, nothing that happens will change our finishing position, third place and the double-chance in the finals is guaranteed. But form and momentum need to be maintained, and on both an individual and team level, this is the last chance to impress before the finals.
We’ve played the Magpies once already this season, recording a comfortable win at home. Being on the road is a challenge, and the Magpies will be desperate as they need a win to make the finals. But our Bombers are looking to maintain our form. The playoffs await.
