It’s a marathon day of footy as we celebrate Back to Bears Day. And the action begins with our Under 19s Div 2 team in action in a do-or-die clash against top side St George.
Last week was a heart-breaking result, as the Bombers came roaring back from a long way behind to fall just short against the Magpies at Picken Oval. The loss sees the Bombers on third place, and with a final four we’ll be hoping for teams above us to lose to go back into the double-chance.
It’s the third clash against the Dragons this year. So far the Bombers have had the edge, defeating the top side on both our previous meetings. It’s a record that it’s important to maintain this week, to keep the chase to avoid sudden death in the finals alive.
