It’s the last game of the home and away season for our Thirds. A successful season has seen the Bombers sitting in pole position for the double-chance in the finals.
Last week our Thirds were at Waratah Oval, spoiling Southern Power’s party as they carved out a slice of history, the first open-age team to win at the new Shire ground.
This week we’re taking on local rivals Manly. When the two sides met at Weldon Oval earlier in the season, the Bombers enjoyed a massive win. This time round the stakes are higher. A win will see the Bombers going into the Qualifying Final, and having the double-chance. A loss means running the risk of playing the sudden-death Elimination Final.
