It’s Back to Bears Day on Saturday, and we welcome back some legends who have worn the black and red in seasons past.
And they’ll be watching the present-day Bombers in a must-win clash in which the stakes are high.
It was a heartbreaking loss last Saturday up at Pennant Hills, going down to the defending champions by a kick. But thanks to our percentage, we’re hanging on to third place and the double-chance in the finals is still in our hands.
This week the Bombers are taking on Manly. It’s time to break through and get a Premier Division win against them; and a win will book our place in the finals. It was a brave fight against the odds last week and the Bombers so nearly got up – and if we see the Bombers put in an all-out effort this week, the opportunity is there to pick up an extremely valuable four competition points.
