Nine wins on the trot sees our Reserves flying into third place on the ladder; and finals footy looms large. There’s some seriously strong players in our Reserves this year, and a strong game plan has seen some awesome momentum build.
Last week the Reserves were too strong for UNSW-ES at Kelso Oval, riding out a Bulldog comeback in the third quarter before powering away in the last.
This week we’re back at home, taking on Randwick City for the second time this season. The first clash against the Saints at Pioneers Park was in the balance for three quarters; before the Bombers assumed control in the last quarter.
The Saints will put up a fight again this time. But there’s enough strength, skill, determination and quality in the Bombers’ lineup that if the Bombers play their football they’re good enough to get the job done.
