We all remember last year’s Under 19s Grand Final. It was a tight affair between North Shore and UNSW-ES, but the Bombers stood up when it counted to take the premiership.
This week sees the Grand Final replay, another clash with the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs will be desperate to exact some form of revenge, but our Bombers will be determined to ensure that doesn’t happen.
The Bombers have been playing some great footy to sit undefeated at the top of the ladder. St George gave our young Bombers a test last Saturday evening, but the Bombers stood tall and won the challenge.
We’re on the road this week, travelling down to Kelso for our second meeting with UNSW-ES this season. At Mortgage Choice Oval early in the year, our young Bombers held the Bulldogs to a single goal. This time it will be a tougher challenge, but if the Bombers can play the football they’re capable of, this game is there to be won.
