Our second Under 19s team had last week off to rest and get over any niggles, but we’re back in action this week, with a twilight encounter to wrap up a Mega Saturday of footy.
At our last start, the Bombers were too strong for Holroyd-Parramatta at Gipps Road Oval, pulling away in the latter stages of the game to record a comfortable win. The Under 19s Div 2 team sits second on the ladder, a tribute to the rapidly-developing form this team is showing.
It’s our second clash against the Magpies so far this year. Early on we went down in a tight one at Picken Oval. This time it’s on our turf, and the Bombers will be looking to play on our terms. This is a team on the way up, developing into a strong footy team; and here’s a chance to show the footy world that this is a team worthy of playing finals.
