It is with sadness that we must inform you of the passing of Jeff Robinson. Robbo passed away peacefully on Wednesday after a long illness.
Robbo was a long-time committee member, volunteer and supporter of North Shore. For many years Robbo was pivotal towards us having the Prime Constructions sponsorship that kept us going through some hard times. Always a smiling face and larger than life character, happy to help out on game day, Robbo was part of the scene on Gore Hill game days for more years than most of us can remember.
Robbo along with Julie, rarely missed a Premier Division game at Gore Hill; his vocal support and willingness to help out a part of the furniture here. And even this year, when he had several months in palliative care, Robbo’s Saturdays were spent with his phone waiting for the next Team App notification of how his Bombers were going.
North Shore Australian Football Club expresses our sympathies to Julie and to the family and friends at this difficult time.
Robbo’s funeral will be at Macquarie Park Crematorium on Friday 29th August at 12 noon, followed by a get together at the Greengate Hotel in Killara.
