ir is with much sadness that we advise of the passing of Michael Lynch.
Michael’s son Richie played 192 games for North Shore; and Michael was there for most of them particularly when Richie was playing at home at Gore Hill.
Always a friendly face, Michael, along with Sue and Monty the dog were a regular presence at Gore Hill. You’d often see Michael doing a shift on the BBQ or the canteen, or doing what needed to be done to help out.
And Michael was a welcomer. There are many around the club who.came along not knowing anyone and Michael was one of the first people they met. Both players and family members quickly felt they were part of the club thanks to Michael.

A memorial service will be held at St Mary’s Church in North Sydney on Friday 6th December at 1.30pm, then at the function room at North Sydney Oval.
