Our footy steps up a notch this weekend. Finals are here, and the premierships we dream of are just weeks away.

Ten North Shore teams have made the finals this season. Three of them, Mens Premier Division, Mens Division Two and Under 19.5s Division One, are minor premiers and have this week off. The other seven teams are in action this weekend.

Womens Division Three kicks off the finals action at 9am tomorrow when they play their Qualifying Final at Kanebridge Oval.

Then at 11am we have three of our teams in finals at the same time. Mens Division One are playing their Qualifying Final at Blacktown, Under 19.5s Division Two are playing their Major Semi-Final at Gipps Road and Womens Under 20s are in Minor Semi-Final action at Rosedale.

On Sunday we have two finals at Blacktown. Mens Division Three are in the Elimination Final at 9am, while Womens Premier Division have their Elimination Final at 1:30pm. Mens Division Four have an Elimination Final to play at Kanebridge starting at 3:20pm.

It would be awesome to see plenty of support for our Bombers in their finals campaigns; so wear you black and red and head along to one of our finals venues. If you’re not playing you’ll need a ticket; so head over to https://www.eventbrite.com.au/o/afl-sydney-31150442335 to get that sorted.

If you can’t get out to Blacktown, the Womens Premier Division game will be streamed live. Head over to https://streamer.com.au/match/4086 from 1:20pm on Sunday to tune in to the action.

I’ll be at Blacktown on both days putting live score updates on Team App and Twitter/X (@northshorefc). Peter McCutcheon will be updating live from Gipps Road on Saturday; and I’ll put up scores from the other venues when I have them. If you’re not playing and are going to Kanebridge or Rosedale and are able to post scores on Team App, it would be muchly appreciated by all at the club.
