AFL Sydney finals start this weekend. 10 of our teams have made the finals this season, with seven of them in action this weekend. Three of our teams go straight through to the second week.
We’d love to see plenty of support for our North Shore teams during the finals. For those who are planning to head out to the finals, the fixtures appear below.
.
AFL Sydney have advised as in relation to the finals:
During the AFL Sydney Finals, spectators will be charged an admission fee to enter each venue. Adult admission is $10 while children 16 and under will receive free admission. This year all ticket sales will be taken through the Eventbrite online ticketing platform [link –
https://www.eventbrite.com.au/o/afl-sydney-31150442335 ]. There are a number of events on this page, so please scroll down to find the game, or games that you want to attend.
.
A reminder that, as always, dogs
are not allowed into BISP. Every year people are turned away because gate staff aren’t allowed to let their dogs enter. Not a great experience for anyone, so please don’t bring your dog and please pass this information on to anyone who you think might. This only applies at Blacktown – no problem taking your dog to Kanebridge, Rosedale or Gipps Road.
Also a reminder that alcohol can’t be taken into any AFL finals venue. Security staff are authorised to search bags, and any alcohol found will be confiscated.
And if you’re planning to go to Blacktown International Sportspark by public transport, there is trackwork on the T1 line and buses replace trains west of Parramatta. Allow plenty of travel time.
.
Hope you see you at the finals, cheering on our mighty Bombers; and that we get to see some premiership silverware make its way back to Gore Hill.
