It’s the final countdown (roll the music). The last round of the regular season, the last chance to impress before the business end of the season rolls around. And our last matches at Gore Hill for season 2024.
For three of our teams, the regular season has already finished. Womens Premier Division, Mens Division One and Mens Division Three have the bye in the final round. These teams are training on, in anticipation of the finals to come.
On Saturday, six of our teams are scheduled to play back to back at Gore Hill. Womens Division Three and Mens Division Four are off to Blacktown International Sportspark to take on Western Magic and scope out the Grand Final venue. And Mens Division Two have a twilight encounter at Pioneers Park against Randwick City. The game at Pioneers will be live-streamed; so you can follow our Div 2 team in action from 5:20pm on Streamer [link –

Team selections for Saturday’s matches are now up on the website and Team App. Congratulations to all who have been given the honour of wearing the North Shore guernsey on Saturday. We hope you’ll wear it with pride and play some great footy in the spirit of the game.
.
This Saturday’s matches will bring down the curtain on the season for our Womens Division One and Mens Division Five teams. Thank you to everyone who has played, coached and volunteered with those teams. We’ve loved having you at North Shore in 2024 and we hope as many of you as possible will be back in 2025 for another season in the black and red.
For our remaining 10 teams, finals await.
Mens Premier Division, Mens Division Two and Under 19.5s Division One will finish as minor premiers in their divisions, and have next week off before going straight through to the Major Semi-Final in their respective divisions on the following weekend. There’s a mathematical chance that Womens Division Three could also finish top if they win and another result happens.
The remaining teams will be in action next weekend. We’ll let you know the finals fixtures as soon as the permutations of ladder positions and fixturing has sorted itself out.
.
Have a great weekend everyone. And up the mighty Bombers!!!
