Another working week done, and now it’s footy time!
Time marches onwards. July has turned into August, and the finals are in sight. And as they draw closer, the excitement builds.
This week at Gore Hill we celebrate Back to Bears Day. North Shore has a long and proud history, going all the way back to 1903. We’re Bombers now, but we were once called the Bears. And in those 121 years, some legends have represented our club. On Back to Bears Day, we welcome some of those heroes of yesteryear back to Gore Hill, to catch up with old team-mates, tell the tall stories of seasons past and cheer on the Bombers of today. Including the 20-year reunion of our 2004 Seniors & Reserves premiership teams.
We’d love to have you come and join us at Gore Hill. But if you’re not able to get there, you can catch the action live online on Streamer. Go to
https://streamer.com.au/match/3855from 1:20pm for the Mens, then head over to
https://streamer.com.au/match/3856for the Womens at around 3:45pm.
We’ve got some big matches this week. Six games back to back at Gore Hill, while six of our teams hit the road for some away trips.
Team selections are now up on the website and Team App. Congratulations to everyone who has been given the honour of wearing the North Shore jumper this weekend.
We rely on volunteers to get numerous tasks done on game day, particularly when we have home club responsibilities. If you’re rostered on for duties this week, we need you to be there with a smiling face and a willingness to get stuck in.
Have an awesome weekend everyone. And hopefully plenty of North Shore wins.
